As reported some time ago , Microsoft have now withdrawn support for Windows 7 with effect from January 14th 2020.
The implication of this is that any security issues that are found in Windows 7 will no longer be corrected, leaving computers running this operating system vulnerable top attack. We feel this could affect both security of data and/or program performance and advise you to take expert advice on what the lack of support will mean to you.
Those of you using the Making Tax Digital VAT facility will find this no longer works on Windows 7. This is not us but HMRC no longer allowing the use of the obsolete security protocols in Windows 7.
